Terms and Conditions
1.0 Eligibility Requirements
1.1 Educational Background
(a) Must have completed the higher education curriculum (e.g., secondary school, pre-university program) in your home country.
(b) Must meet the academic requirements for admission to a university in your home country or the chosen institution overseas.
1.2. Age
(a) Applicants must be between 18years and 40 years of age, when making their scholarship applications.
1.3. Approved Institution
a) The institution of study in your home country, must be and approved institution provider and accredited with the Education Board/ Department/ Ministry of your Home Country.
b) For International studies the institution of study must be accredited and recognized by the immigration authorities of the destination country
1.4. Approved Overseas Countries for Study & Home Country
1.4.1 Overseas Scholarships are only available for study in institutions located in:
(a) Canada
(b) United States
(c) Australia
(d) United Kingdom
(e) New Zealand
1.4.2 Applications to institutions outside these countries will not be considered unless the applications are made to Institutions located in your home country
1.5. Provisional Offer Letter (If Applicable)
(a) For countries requiring upfront health insurance payments (e.g., Australia’s Overseas Student Health Cover), applicants must:
Obtain a provisional offer letter from the institution.

1.6. Confirmed Offer Letter
(a) A final, unconditional offer letter from the chosen institution is mandatory to finalize the scholarship award.
(b) Conditional offers (e.g., pending language tests) may be accepted temporarily but must be resolved before the scholarship is disbursed. (see Clause 3 for assistance towards English Requirements)
1.7 Institution Verification:
Funding Dreams Initiative reserves the right to verify the accreditation status of the chosen institution.
1.8 Documentation Verification:
All certificates, offer letters, and test scores must be submitted in English or with certified translations. Once submitted Funding Dreams Initiative will verify all documents to progress applications to the next stage.
2.0 Visa Compliance:
Scholarship recipients must secure a valid student visa for their destination country of study.
3.0 Scholarship Coverage for Home Country Studies
(a) A one-time Establishment allowance to the maximum value of USD $6,000.00. (Tablet, Book Fees, Student table & Chair, Clothing, ICT connectivity)
(b) Full tuition fees for the term/ semester.
(c) ) All Living allowance, Accommodation per term/ semester will be paid in USD, a lump sum payment to cover 26 weeks varies as per the home country in the regions as below:
(i) Asia
(ii) Africa
(iii) Europe
(iv) North America
(v) South America
(v) Oceania
3.1 Scholarship Coverage for International Studies
(a) A one-time visa support assistance to cover Student Health Insurance Cover and visa application processing fees to the maximum amount of USD $300.00, once student has passed the character & health requirements for the visa processing.
(b) Full Tuition Fees for the Semester to the maximum value of USD $24,000.00 per term/ semester
(c) Return Travel Expense to the maximum value of USD $1,000.00
(d) A one-time Establishment allowance to the maximum value of USD $6,000.00. (Tablet, Book Fees, Student table & Chair, Clothing, ICT connectivity)
(e) All Living allowance, Accommodation per term/ semester will be paid in USD, a lump sum payment to cover 26 weeks varies as per the country in the regions as below:
(iii) UK – USD$20,000.00 – USD$24,000.00
(iv) North America – USD$20,000.00 – USD$24,000.00
(v) Oceania – USD$18,000.00 – USD$22,000.00
(d) An emergency fund of USD $1,000.00, to be in credit of the recipient’s profile held with Funding Dreams Initiative. This fund is accessible upon application with Funding Dreams Initiative for emergency travel to home country due to an emergency which will be assessed by Funding Dreams Initiative on a case by case basis. Processing period shall be 3 working days.
4.0 Academic Performance Obligations
(a) Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.8 each semester/term.
(b) Upload academic transcripts on profile page of the recipient on Funding Dreams Initiative after each term/ semester.
(c) Failure to meet standards may result in probation, reduced funding, or termination.
5.0 Enrolment and Program Requirements
(a) Full-Time Enrolment:
Recipients must remain enrolled as full-time students.
(b) Program Continuity:
No unauthorized breaks or deferrals without written approval.
(c) Change of Institution/Course:
Requires prior approval from the Institution and Funding Dreams Initiative.
6.0 Post-Study Obligations (applicable to Overseas Studies Recipients)
(a) Return to Home Country:
Recipients to return home after completion of program of study.
(b) for any further studies Recipients to return to home country and apply again
(c) For recipients having employment offers, are to return to home country and do appropriate visa applications with the respective Consulate.
7.0 Repayment Clause
7.0.1 Recipients may forfeit the scholarship or repay funds if they:
(a) Withdraw from the program without approval.
(b) Recipient has been involved in any criminal activity and convicted
(c) Recipient has been involved in any dishonest practice contrary to the Institutions code of conduct
(d) Fail to meet academic/conduct requirements.
(e) Violate post-study obligations (e.g., not returning to their home country).
8.0 Code of Conduct
(a) Recipient is to at all times adhere to the host institution’s rules and local laws.
(b) Recipient is to at all times avoid involvement in illegal activities or misconduct (academic dishonesty, criminal offenses).
(c) Violations may lead to immediate termination of the scholarship.
9.0 Subscription Requirements
(a) All Students are required to subscribe to the website www.fundingdreamsinitiative.com.
(b) Subscriptions are being offered on a 4 tier upgrades with Dream Starter (Free), Dream Explorer (Monthly Subscription Fees of $25.00), Dream Accelerator (Six Monthly Subscription Fess of $140.00), Dream Achiever (12 Month Subscription Fees of $275.00)
10. Reporting Requirements
(a) Submit progress reports, thesis/dissertation updates, or internship details at the end of the academic term/ semester.
(b) Attend mandatory meetings/events organized by Funding Dreams Initiative.
11. Intellectual Property
(a) Any research, inventions, or publications may be subject to the host institution’s IP policies.
12. Deferment and Termination
(a) Deferment may be permitted for medical reasons, emergencies, or military service (with documentation).
(b) Termination, Funding Dreams Initiative reserves the right to cancel funding for breaches of terms.
13. Disqualification
Applicants may be disqualified for:
(a) False or incomplete documentation.
(b) Failure to meet health, character, or academic standards.
(c) Applying to non-approved institutions/countries.
(d) Failure to meet Immigration requirements
(e) If the recipient has failed two or more course units of the entire program of study
(f) Recipient has been involved in any criminal activity and convicted
(g) Recipient has been involved in any dishonest practice contrary to the Institutions code of conduct
14. Tax Implications
(a) Recipients are responsible for taxes on stipends or allowances (if applicable in their country/institution).
15. Confidentiality
Recipients may be required to keep scholarship-related communications or agreements confidential.
16. Amendments
Funding Dreams Initiative may update terms and conditions, and publish on their website.
17. Acceptance of Terms
By accepting the scholarship, the recipient agrees to comply with all terms outlined in the offer letter.

19. Scholarship Award Criteria
Students who meet the eligibility criteria will then be placed in a que where preference will be given on:
(a) Compliance to Donor request/ guidelines
(a) Full and Complete applications received as per their date and time stamp, where first come first serve basis.
(b) Compliance to Donor preference/ request/ guidelines
(c) Once Donor preference/ request/ guidelines have been satisfied the remaining applicants will then be required to sit for an online Aptitude test organised by Funding Dreams Initiative
(d) The applicants will be ranked from highest to lowest as per the Aptitude Test scores, and scholarships will be awarded from the highest rank to lowest rank until the entire remaining budget for scholarships award has been exhausted.
Note: Aptitude test for applicants will be tailor made as per the students area & choice of study
For Donors
20.1 Welcome to Funding Dreams Initiative (“FDI” or “the Platform”).
These Terms & Conditions govern the participation of individuals and organizations (“Donors” or “You”) in our scholarship funding program.
20.1.2 By making a donation, registering as a donor, or using the platform, you agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.
21. Eligibility & Registration
21.1 To become a donor, you must:
(a) Be at least 18 years old or the legal age of majority in your country.
(b) Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
(c) Provide accurate and verifiable personal and financial information.
22.2 Organizations, corporations, and foundations can also register as donors under an authorized representative.
2.3 By registering, you consent to FDI verifying your details as necessary to prevent fraud and ensure compliance with regulations.
23. Donation Options & Sponsorships
23.1 Donors may contribute in the following ways:
23.1.1 Specific Student Sponsorship
(a) Donors can select a specific student to sponsor.
(b) Sponsorship can be for full education (covering tuition, books, living expenses) or partial education (covering only specific costs).
(c) If the selected student is no longer eligible (e.g., academic dismissal, withdrawal), FDI will notify the donor of available reallocation options.
23.1.2 General Scholarship Fund
(a) Donors can contribute to a general fund, which FDI will allocate to deserving students.
(b) Minimum donation: $500 per transaction.
(c) Maximum donation: $10,000 per transaction.
23.1.3 Sponsoring a Specific Field of Study
(a) Donors can choose to fund students in a particular academic discipline (e.g., medicine, engineering, arts).
(b) Funds will be distributed to eligible applicants in the selected category.
23.1.4 Sponsoring a Specific Geographic Region
(a) Donors can allocate funds to students from a specific country, state, or economic background.
24. Payment & Fund Disbursement
24.1 Donations are processed through FDI’s approved payment gateways.
24.2 Funds will be disbursed as follows:
(a) Tuition Fees: Paid directly to the student’s educational institution.
(b) Other Expenses (Books, Living Allowance, Establishment Costs): Transferred to the student’s nominated bank account before the start of the academic term.
24.3 Donors will receive an official receipt for each contribution, which can be used for tax deduction purposes (where applicable).
24.4 FDI reserves the right to conduct additional verification before processing large donations.
25. Donation Tracking & Donor Dashboard
25.1 FDI provides a Donation Tracking System within the Donor Dashboard, where donors can:
(a) View their donation history (including past and current contributions).
(b) Track how their funds have been allocated (specific student sponsorship or general fund distribution).
(c) Receive updates on student progress upon request.
(d) Monitor disbursement reports (e.g., tuition fee payments made to institutions).
(e) Download official receipts for financial records and tax purposes.
25.2 Donors will have real-time visibility into the impact of their contributions through status updates and reports on their selected students or scholarship categories.
26. Refund, Cancellation & Reallocation Policy
26.1 Donations are non-refundable, except in specific cases such as:
(a) The selected student becomes ineligible before fund disbursement.
(b) A donation was made in error or due to fraudulent activity.
26.2 If a donor’s selected student withdraws from the program after partial disbursement:
(a) The remaining balance may be reallocated to another student,
(b) Transferred to the general scholarship fund, or
(c) Refunded upon request (subject to FDI’s review and approval).
26.3 In case of overpayment or duplicate donations, donors must request a refund within 30 days of the transaction.
27. Donor Matching & Selection Process
Donors selecting a specific student will have access to student profiles and impact statements to help in decision-making.
27.2 If multiple donors select the same student:
(a) Priority will be given based on the highest sponsorship offer or
(b) The donor may choose to co-sponsor with another donor.
27.3 Donors who do not select a student will have their funds pooled for fair distribution based on academic merit and financial need.
All applicants after the selection from Donors will undergo an aptitude test, and scholarships from the general fund are awarded based on ranking until available funds are exhausted.
28. Donor Recognition & Privacy
28.1 Donors may choose to:
(a) Have their name displayed on the FDI website and reports.
(b) Remain anonymous and not disclose their identity to students or the public.
28.2 Donors will not have direct personal contact with students unless explicitly permitted by FDI and the student.
28.3 All donor data is stored securely and will not be shared with third parties without consent.
29. Compliance & Ethical Considerations
29.1 Donations must be made in good faith, without expectations of personal favors, employment offers, or other benefits from students or FDI.
29.2 Donations must not originate from illegal, unethical, or high-risk sources. FDI reserves the right to reject funds that do not meet compliance standards.
29.3 Donors must adhere to anti-discrimination policies and cannot impose sponsorship conditions based on gender, race, religion, or other protected characteristics.
29.4 FDI reserves the right to refuse or terminate a donation agreement if a donor’s activities conflict with the organization’s values or ethical policies.
30. Communication & Support
30.1 Donors can contact FDI via:
(a) Live Chat on the website.
(b) Email Support through the “Contact Us” page.
(c) Dedicated Donor Helpline for urgent queries.
30.2 Regular donor updates, financial reports, and student progress reports will be provided quarterly.
31. Amendments & Termination
31.1 FDI reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on the website and notified to registered donors.
31.2 Donors may terminate their participation by providing written notice to FDI. However, donations already made remain subject to these terms.
31.3 If FDI suspends or terminates a donor’s account due to policy violations, no refunds will be issued.
32. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
32.1 These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA.
32.2 Any disputes arising under these terms shall first be resolved through negotiation. If unresolved, disputes will be settled via mediation or arbitration as per FDI’s dispute resolution process.
33. Acceptance of Terms
By making a donation, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions.
